Aahh! I'm giving away all my secrets. But I like you so it's ok :-) This product right here is my ,"if you were stuck on a desert island what is the one cosmetic item you would bring" product.
I love love love cococare lip balm. Did I say I love cococare lip balm? Oh yeah I think you heard me say it :-)
I'm sure you've seen this unassuming lip balm around town and possibly not given it a second chance. I tried this product on a whim once when they used to sell it in Walgreens. The pretty banana yellow packaging caught my eye. The other thing that caught my eye was that it was a lip balm mostly made up of cocoa butter. I love natural products and it was only a buck and some change. I decided to try it on a whim. I thought what could it hurt?
Well I immediately fell in love :-) I adore this product. The thing I love the most about it is that it seems to have the ability to penetrate all your different lip layers of skin and moisturize all of them. And once it does that, it leaves behind soft, supple kissable lips that aren't greasy or shiny.
It's also not that type of balm that requires you to rub it back and forth vigorously to build up product on the lips. Just a couple of swipes are all that is needed.
I love to put one swipe of this on before I apply lip liner and lipstick. Because ladies, you know that there is nothing easy or cute about applying lipstick over crusty dry and cracking lips!
You can also use this product as an exfoliant. Build up some products on your lips, then take a soft tooth brush and rub rub rub to get rid of that chapped skin. Beautiful, soft lips will be left behind :-)
And you won't have to reapply it religiously. It stays around for a while, doing its thang nicely in the background.
It doesn't have a mediciney smell like another brand that smells and feels like you smeared Vics vapor rub all over your lips *cough cough carmex *
It's non assuming neutral ingredients make it a great primer for lipstick and lip liner application. Just make sure you wipe off the excess first.
Want to know how many of these I have? Well I couldn't tell you. I love them so much that I order them a dozen at a time. I stash them in my purse, in my cosmetic bag, in my coat, on my night stand in my personal makeup kit and I keep it in my professional kit too :-)
