Hey all! Just wanted to share some photos from my latest bridal shoot. I was able to shoot recently with Matt of Black Tie Wedding Photography and Carmen Marie Hair! I always have a great time shooting with this team and we work well together.
The lovely model featured in this blog post is Ms. Raksha. She is an uber professional and it was simply a delight working with her. I love Indian brides and Indian bridal makeup! I love the vivid colors, eyecatching jewelry and elaborate clothes! It is always fun helping everything come together!
For Raksha, I used Face Atelier foundation. I love Face Atelier! It is a silicone-based foundation that really makes it look like someone has perfect skin. If you remember from my previous posts, that is my preferred way to apply foundation. I just like my client's skin to look as good as possible :)
I also used Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in bronze to give her that glow on her cheeks. I also paired it with a soft peach blush to keep the cheeks glowy but subtle. I also used Stila baked eyeshadow trio to have the neutral colors on her lid really pop.
For the first look, I gave Raksha a neutral look and I emphasized the shimmer to play off of her beautiful bridal gown. Isn't she lovely?
For Raksha's second look, I upped the colors used on her eyelid to play off her elaborate green bridal Indian wedding gown. I used my Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye pencil to give her a bold green color under her eyes that would not smudge. I also added a little purple on her eyelids to increase the drama a little bit.
